eleventh day

There was not any numbers in the original story, but in the revised story the number four will be used a lot. When she finds the bread crumbs she finds four of them. Then when the holes in the wall turn into a fireplace, it took four of those. Also it was four pieces of cloth that turned into a big cover.
The reason I chose to use the number four is because it is an even number. Also because it can be evenly shared among people. Numbers are an important part of fairytales because they explain the importance of that object. Most stories use the numbers three, seven,or twelve, so I decided to use the number three.

  1. Look a little deeper and see if there is any consistent numbers or patterns in the original. That will help with the creation of numbers as symbols in your pastiche.

  2. Is there any kind of connection between the number you chose and the culture you chose?
